Preparations underway for another prisoner swap with Ukraine — Russian official

According to Yana Lantratova, the talks cover two categories: prisoners of war and civilians being held in Ukraine who have been unable to return home and reunite with their families

SOLNECHNOGORSK /Moscow Region/, July 29. /TASS/. Preparations are underway for another prisoner exchange between Moscow and Kiev, Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova said.

"We are working on the next swap. We haven't announced a date yet so as not to disrupt the process," she told reporters on the sidelines of the Terra Scientia National Educational Youth Forum.

According to the commissioner, the talks cover two categories: prisoners of war and civilians being held in Ukraine who have been unable to return home and reunite with their families. "Separate talks continue on each list, and I hope we will be able to carry out the next stage soon. Our goal is to bring all of our people home," she said.
