MOSCOW, July 7. /TASS/. Russia hopes that the United States’ efforts to resolve the Ukraine conflict will succeed, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

"We maintain contact with the Americans through working channels, and we hope that their efforts aimed at moving the entire situation onto a peaceful track will eventually succeed," he pointed out.

"At least, as the Russian president has repeatedly said, we remain open to this possibility," the Kremlin spokesman added.
