Enemy drone attacks on college building in Starobelsk in LPR leave 35 wounded — official

According to LPR head Leonid Pasechnik, there were 86 children aged between 14 and 18 in the building at the time of the attack

LUGANSK, May 22. /TASS/. Ukrainian troops delivered a strike on a college building and campus in Starobelsk in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), using drones. The attack left 35 people wounded, LPR head Leonid Pasechnik reported on his channel on Max.

"A tragedy occurred last night. Ukrainian troops targeted defenseless children, sleeping, as enemy drones attacked a college building and campus in Starobelsk. There were 86 children aged between 14 and 18 there at the time of the attack. Thirty-five people sustained wounds of varying severity in the attack," he wrote.

Three people have been rescued from under the rubble. Children remain trapped under the rubble of the college building, and the search is ongoing, the official said.

According to Pasechnik, office buildings, shops and private homes across the city were also damaged, leaving one person injured.
