LUGANSK, April 28. /TASS/. On April 27, the Russian military secured control of Taratutino in the Sumy Region, penetrating seven kilometers into Ukrainian defenses, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.

Marochko noted that by capturing Taratutino, Russian forces have expanded the buffer zone near the Kursk Region’s border.

"At present, the area around Taratutino represents the most significant advancement in our military operations within the Sumy Region," he emphasized.
