Ukrainian attack injures animals at Vasilievsky predator rehabilitation center — governor

Yevgeny Balitsky stressed that the regional government would assist in repairing the damaged facilities

MELITOPOL, April 21. /TASS/. Animals at the Vasilievsky rehabilitation center for large predators were injured in an attack by the Ukrainian military, which also damaged a utility building and two vehicles, Zaporozhye Region Governor Yevgeny Balitsky said on his Telegram channel.

"There is one incident that defies all military logic - the outrageous and senseless attack on the Vasilievsky rehabilitation center for large predators. Utility buildings and two vehicles were damaged, and animals were injured, becoming innocent victims of this hatred," the governor wrote.

He stressed that the regional government would assist in repairing the damaged facilities and noted that the top priority is to provide veterinary care to the injured animals.
