MOSCOW, April 2. /TASS/. Air defense capabilities intercepted 147 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions overnight, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
An unmanned aerial vehicle hit a residential building in Ufa, head of the Russian Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov said on Telegram.

- From 11:00 p.m. Moscow time (8:00 p.m. GMT) on April 1 to 7:00 a.m. Moscow time (4:00 a.m. GMT) on April 2, on-duty air defenses intercepted and shot down 147 Ukrainian fixed-wing UAVs, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported.
- According to the report, the drones were downed over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Smolensk, Tula, Kaluga, Krasnodar regions, over Russia’s Republics of Crimea, Bashkortostan and Adygea, as well as over the Black and Azov seas.
Attack on Ufa
- A drone struck a residential building in Ufa, head of the Russian Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov said on his Telegram channel.
- There were no casualties, he added.
- All emergency services are on site, and the open fire has been put out.
- Several apartments in a residential building were damaged in the attack and a hotline has been set up, the Bashkortostan prosecutor’s office press service said.
- Several drones were also downed near oil refineries in Ufa, Khabirov reported.
- Debris from one of the drones fell in an industrial zone, a fire is currently being extinguished on the premises.
- Bashkortostan authorities warned of fake reports about casualties following the drone attack on Ufa, the regional emergency committee said.
- The arrival of 10 flights has been delayed at Ufa airport, according to the airport’s online departures board.
