Russia’s Donbass Dome system upgraded to counter new threats

The Donbass Dome system was created in the DPR with the participation of the regional FSB Directorate

DONETSK, April 1. /TASS/. The Donbass Dome anti-unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system has been upgraded, becoming more comprehensive and effective against new threats from the Ukrainian armed forces, an expert with the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) Directorate for the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) told TASS.

"The enemy is using new weapons systems, which we are successfully countering. Accordingly, our system itself has been upgraded; it has become more comprehensive and more effective, allowing us to counter a greater number of threats," the expert said.

The Donbass Dome system was created in the DPR with the participation of the regional FSB Directorate. Earlier, the directorate told TASS that the system had neutralized over 50,000 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.
