Russia’s Battlegroup East destroys 17 Ukrainian UAV control posts over 24 hours

In counterbattery fire, Battlegroup East units destroyed three towed howitzers of the Ukrainian army, including US-made M198 and M119 artillery guns

MOSCOW, August 20. /TASS/. Russia’s Battlegroup East destroyed four US-made Starlink satellite stations and 17 UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) control posts of the Ukrainian army in its area of responsibility over the past 24 hours, Battlegroup East Spokesman Aleksey Yakovlev reported on Wednesday.

"The Battlegroup East continues accomplishing objectives in the special military operation area. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy lost … four Starlink satellite communication stations and 17 UAV control posts," the spokesman said in a statement.

In counterbattery fire, Battlegroup East units destroyed three towed howitzers of the Ukrainian army, including US-made M198 and M119 artillery guns, he added.
