MOSCOW, August 4. /TASS/. Air defenses have intercepted and destroyed 61 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions overnight, the Defense Ministry said.

- From 11:00 p.m. Moscow time on August 3 (8:00 p.m. GMT) to 5:20 a.m. Moscow time on August 4 (3:20 a.m. GMT), on-duty air defenses intercepted and destroyed 61 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones over Russian regions, the Defense Ministry said.

- According to it, 18 drones were downed over the Black Sea, 12 over the Voronezh Region, 11 over Crimea, eight over the Belgorod Region, six over the Volgograd Region, two each over the Bryansk and Rostov Regions, and one each over the Moscow and Ryazan Regions.

Consequences

- Six trains are delayed due to drone debris falling in the Volgograd Region, according to the Telegram channel of the Volga Railway (a branch of Russian Railways).

- The maximum time of delay is one and a half hours.

Work of airports

- Restrictions on the reception and release of airplanes have been introduced at the Volgograd and Tambov airports.

- These restrictions have since been lifted.
