Ukrainian army fired about 100 munitions on Belgorod Region in one day

Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that authorities successfully jammed and shot down twelve drones during these attacks

BELGOROD, May 19. /TASS/. Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian army launched a series of aggressive attacks across Russia’s Belgorod Region, utilizing 99 munitions and 81 drones. The assaults resulted in injuries to two civilians, according to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, who shared details via his Telegram channel.

In the Valuiki municipal district, 24 drone strikes targeted the town of Valuiki and surrounding villages including Dvuluchnoye, Dolgoye, Kazinka, Kukuyevka, Nasonovo, Podgornoye, Soloti, and Timonovo. Authorities successfully jammed and shot down twelve drones during these attacks. A drone attack on a vehicle on the Kazinka-Borki road injured a civilian and caused vehicle damage. In Valuiki, strikes damaged a technical room; in Kazinka and Podgornoye, one vehicle each was damaged; and in Soloti, a garage and three cars were affected.

The Shebekino district experienced 16 drone assaults, one of which injured a bus driver. Additionally, two private houses and five vehicles were damaged. The Krasnaya Yaruga district was attacked with 88 munitions and three drones, with ongoing assessments underway to determine the full extent of damages.

The Volokonovka district was targeted with four munitions and two drones, damaging a private house and a summer kitchen. The Graivoron district faced seven munitions and one drone attack, resulting in damage to a private house’s fence.

In the Belgorod district, 14 drones caused damage to three private homes, a power line, a truck, two cars, and an agricultural building. Over Borisovsky district, two drones were fired, damaging two private houses.

In the regions of Gubkinsky, Novooskolskoye, Stary Oskol, and Chernyanka, air defense systems intercepted 19 drones; warehouses and a piece of farming equipment were damaged.
