MOSCOW, March 18. /TASS/. Russia should learn from its Western partners, taking the best aspects while avoiding imitation, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
"Yes, of course, we recognize the advantages of our Western partners — advanced technologies and production organization. They have achieved a lot, and we should respect that and adopt the best of what they have, but not copy them," he stated.
The president also pointed out that the decline of "Western dominance" and the rise of new global growth centers is a long-term process. "This is what I want to emphasize," Putin noted.
