Kiev may be trying to harm trend toward settlement by UAV attack — Kremlin

"There is nothing to be disrupted yet, but the fact that the emerging trend may be majorly spoiled is true," Dmitry Peskov stated

MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. The Kiev regime may be attempting to spoil the emerging trend toward a peace settlement by organizing a drone attack on Moscow, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing.

The spokesman pointed out that no concrete peace negotiations are underway yet, and even now, in Saudi Arabia, "Americans, according to them, are trying to understand how ready Ukraine is for peace talks."

"There is nothing to be disrupted yet, but the fact that the emerging trend may be majorly spoiled is true," he stated.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 337 Ukrainian drones were destroyed over Russian regions overnight on March 11, including 91 in the Moscow Region. The attack became the most significant in 2025. The Russian Investigative Committee has launched a criminal case for terrorism-related activities. The Russian Health Ministry specified that the attack injured a total of 18 people in the Moscow Region, including three children. Two adults were killed. Six people have been admitted to the region’s hospitals following the Ukrainian attack, with one woman being in critical condition. Several apartment buildings and other infrastructures sustained damage.

The attack was carried out on the day of the visit of Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Feridun Sinirlioglu and several hours ahead of the Ukraine-US Jeddah negotiations. Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that today’s attack on Moscow serves as a warning of Kiev’s madness to the West and proves that Russia prevails on the battlefield.
