MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. The overnight Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow and the Moscow Region will show the visiting secretary general of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) the terroristic nature of the Kiev regime, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
Addressing a conference on modern media in Moscow on Tuesday, the Russian diplomat said that OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu is currently visiting the Russian capital: "Unfortunately <…>, in terms of the geographical location, he is visiting in the wake of a drone attack by the Kiev regime which launched drones when a high-profile international delegation was visiting the [Russian] capital." "This apparently serves to let them know about the terroristic nature of the Kiev regime not on paper, but in reality," she noted.
Zakharova condemned the OSCE for neglecting reality "all these years," even as reporters have been submitting reports to it and risking their lives to publish their findings. "However, the OSCE somehow chose to overlook those materials as it relied on propaganda tactics instead," the diplomat expressed regret.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 337 Ukrainian drones were downed over Russian regions last night, with 91 unmanned aerial vehicles shot down over the Moscow Region. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said that air defenses had repelled the largest-ever drone attack on the Russian capital. Two people were killed as a result of the attack and more than 10 others suffered injuries. Also, residential and other buildings were damaged in the attack, which caused cars to ignite. Russia’s Investigative Committee has launched a criminal investigation into the widespread drone attack.
