Russia's actions in Kursk Region provoke panic in Ukrainian army — commander

According to Apty Alaudinov, fighters from different units covered 12-15 kilometers, depending on their departure point

MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. Russian troops' infiltration behind enemy lines through a gas pipeline and the subsequent defeat of Ukrainian detachments in the Sudzhansky District of the Kursk Region have caused panic among Kiev's servicemen, Akhmat Special Forces Commander Lieutenant General Apty Alaudinov told TASS.

According to him, fighters from different units covered 12-15 kilometers, depending on their departure point. Fighters of the Aida group of the Akhmat Special Forces and the 30th Motorized Rifle Regiment were the first to emerge from the pipe hatches into the Ukrainian flanks. They "immediately entered a forest, drove the enemy out, captured two strongholds, and then entered the village of Kubatkin."

"This caused overwhelming panic among Ukrainian units, spreading it widely," Alaudinov said.
