MOSCOW, February 10. /TASS/. The Ukrainian army lost over 380 troops in Russia’s borderline Kursk area over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Monday.
"During the last 24-hour period, the Ukrainian army lost over 380 personnel, two tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle, three armored personnel carriers, seven armored combat vehicles, 18 motor vehicles, an artillery gun, seven mortars, seven UAV control posts and three ammunition depots," the ministry said in a statement. "Five Ukrainian troops laid down their arms and surrendered."
According to the ministry, units of the Battlegroup North defeated the formations of two tank brigades, a heavy mechanized brigade, five mechanized brigades, three airborne assault brigades and a marine infantry brigade, as well as two territorial defense brigades and three assault regiments near Gogolevka, Guyevo, Zaoleshenka, Kolmakov, Kositsa, Lebedevka, Malaya Loknya, Makhnovka, Melovoy, Nikolsky, Novaya Sorochina, Rubanshchina, Sverdlikovo and Sudzha.
In addition, operational-tactical and army aircraft strikes and artillery fire hit enemy personnel and equipment near Viktorovka, Goncharovka, Kazachya Loknya, 1st Knyazhy, Kurilovka, Loknya, Martynovka, Cherkasskoye Porechnoye, as well as Basovka, Belovody, Vodolagi, Veselovka, Zhuravka, Pisarevka, Sumy and Yunakovka in the Sumy Region.
