Sino-Russian trade turnover up 7% to $220-245 bln — Putin

NOVO-OGARYOVO, January 21. /TASS/. Trade turnover between Russia and China has increased by 7% to $220-245 bln despite the negative external influence, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during video-link talks with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.

"Despite the negative external influence, new positive results were reached in mutual trade by the end of the year," Putin said. "Though we only have data for 11 months, trade turnover demonstrated growth by more than 7%, having reached over $220 bln. According to Chinese statistics, full-year [trade turnover] reached almost $245 bln," he added.
