Those who voice idea of transferring nuclear weapons to Kiev are insane — Russian MFA

As Maria Zakharova underlined, she does not know what this motivation is aimed at

MOSCOW, November 27. /TASS/. Those representatives of the collective West who speculate about the possibility of transferring nuclear weapons to the Kiev regime are absolute madmen, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a news briefing.

"We treat this [the transfer of nuclear weapons to Kiev] as madness. It is absolute madness, which is imposed by the West on this gang in Ukraine," she said. "I don't know what this motivation is aimed at. It is some kind of stimulating propaganda idea for the West, which they prompt the Kiev regime."

On November 21, The New York Times reported that some officials in the US and European countries had suggested returning to Ukraine the nuclear weapons that Kiev had given up after the collapse of the Soviet Union. However, the daily said, such a move is difficult to implement and would have serious consequences, should it materialize.
