Ukraine launches around 40 shells at Russia’s Belgorod Region in the past day

A total of nine artillery shells and five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were launched at the Volokonovsky district, damaging a passenger car with shrapnel

BELGOROD, November 27. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have launched 40 munitions and 30 drones at the Belgorod Region, primarily targeting the Belgorod district, Vyacheslav Gladkov, the region’s governor, reported on his Telegram channel.

"The settlements of Belomestnoye, Dragunskoye, Zhuravlyovka, Krasny Khutor, Naumovka, Nizhny Olshanets, Repnoye, Tavrovo, Cheremoshnoye, and Schetinovka in the Belgorod district were targeted by 23 projectiles in three rounds of shelling, along with nine drones, seven of which were intercepted by an air defense system," he wrote.

A total of nine artillery shells and five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were launched at the Volokonovsky district, damaging a passenger car with shrapnel. In the Shebekino district, eight settlements were attacked by eight munitions and seven UAVs. No injuries or significant damages were reported.

Air defenses downed six fixed-wing drones over Belgorod, as well as in the Valuysky, Starooskolsky, Yakovlevsky, and Prokhorovsky districts. One public facility was damaged by debris from an intercepted drone in the town of Stroitel.

Two UAVs attacked the Grayvoronsky and Krasnoyaruzhsky districts, damaging an infrastructure facility and a passenger car. "In the Borisovsky district, two drones targeted the settlements of Kazachye-Rudchenskoye and Tsapovka. No damage was reported," the governor added.
