MOSCOW, March 28. /TASS/. Telephone calls from Ukraine to persons in Russia urging them to commit terrorist acts are being made, in particular, by children from disadvantaged families who have been recruited by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), said Russian State Duma Deputy Speaker Anna Kuznetsova, who co-chairs a joint parliamentary commission for investigating criminal acts by the Kiev regime involving minors.
She noted that the Kiev regime is actively engaged in recruiting minors. "Calls and messages come from the territory of Ukraine; often such calls are made by children recruited by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), who are specifically tracked down [and targeted] from among disadvantaged families or orphans; this work is carried out by the SBU in 13 regions of Ukraine. We have received information about attempts to recruit children in 19 regions of Russia," Kuznetsova said.
According to her, in a number of regions of Russia, children have received instant messages calling on them to participate in terrorist activities. Kuznetsova added that the participants of the World Youth Festival received threatening messages.
The State Duma at its plenary session on June 20, 2023, adopted a resolution on conducting a parliamentary investigation into the crimes of the Kiev regime against children. At a meeting on June 21, the Federation Council adopted a resolution to support the initiative to initiate a parliamentary investigation. The commission consists of 13 members of the upper house Federation Council and 13 lawmakers from the lower house State Duma. The commission, according to the law, has been established for a period of up to one year and the findings from its investigation will be presented to the country's top leadership.
