One Belgorod Region citizen was killed and five others, including two schoolchildren, were injured in the Belgorod Region as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian armed forces, over the past 24 hours - from 7:00 a.m. Moscow time (4:00 a.m. GMT) March 19 to 7:00 a.m. Moscow time (4:00 a.m. GMT) March 20, regional Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.

"Here is the data on the shelling by the armed forces of Ukraine in the past 24 hours from 7:00 a.m. March 19 to 7:00 a.m. March 20: the enemy attacked the village of Shchetinovka in the Belgorod district using a kamikaze drone. Five people were injured, including two teenagers - 14 and 15 years old. All the injured are in hospitals and are receiving all the necessary medical care. <...> In the Grayvoronsky District in the village of Kozinka, a kamikaze drone hit a car. Unfortunately, there is one dead. An elderly man, whom they tried to take to a safe place, died," he wrote.

According to him, over 60 private residential houses, over 70 cars, three windows in the gymnasium of the school in the village of Vasilyevka in the Rakityansky district were damaged by the Ukrainian armed forces' shelling in the region during the day.
