MOSCOW, March 19. /TASS/. More than 130 residential houses and 60 passenger cars were damaged as a result of Ukraine’s shelling attacks on Russia’s Belgorod Region bordering Ukraine over the past day, the region’s governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said.
"In Belgorod, six civilians were wounded as a result of three massive shelling attacks by Ukrainian troops. No one was killed. Twenty-six apartments in nine multi-storey buildings, 19 single-family houses, 27 economic entities, one socially important facility, and 63 were damaged," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to the governor, twenty-three Ukrainian drones were shot down near Belgorod. As many as 93 houses were damaged in the Belgorod district. A shell hit a residential house in the village of Nikolskoye, killing four people. A small girl survived.
Several more drones were shot down in the Belgorod Region. One civilian was killed and two more were wounded in the village of Gorkovskoye in a kamikaze drone attack.
