Russian troops advance northwest of Rabotino in Zaporozhye area

The Ukrainian army lost a tank and other equipment in the Orekhov direction on Monday

MELITOPOL, March 12. /TASS/. Russian troops advanced northwest of the community of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye area, seizing the Ukrainian army’s positions, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia public movement, told TASS on Tuesday.

"Our forces have moved forward a little northwest of Rabotino, seized the enemy’s positions and ruled out the adversary’s strikes on Rabotino from the northwest in that area. Yesterday, it was confirmed that the enemy had lost a tank in the Orekhov direction and also other equipment," the politician said.

Battles are still raging in Rabotino and the enemy is actively using artillery and unmanned aerial vehicles in that area, he specified.

"It has been confirmed that the Ukrainian military is redeploying troops from the Avdeyevka area in the Donetsk People’s Republic to the Orekhov frontline sector in the Zaporozhye Region," Rogov said.

Last week, units from Ukraine’s Neo-Nazi Azov formation (outlawed in Russia as a terror group) redeployed from the Avdeyevka area were spotted near Rabotino, he said.
