No casualties, damage after destruction of drone over Russia’s Leningrad Region — governor

The Russian Defense Ministry earlier reported that since the early hours of March 12, the defense systems had downed and suppressed 25 Ukrainian drones

ST. PETERSBURG, March 12. /TASS/. There were no casualties or damage following the destruction of a fixed-wing drone near the town of Kirishi in Russia’s Leningrad Region, Governor Alexander Drozdenko said.

"At 6:49 a.m. Moscow time [3:49 a.m. GMT], the Russian air defenses destroyed a fixed-wing drone near the town of Kirishi in the Leningrad Region. There were no casualties or damage," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The Russian Defense Ministry earlier reported that since the early hours of March 12, the defense systems had downed and suppressed 25 Ukrainian drones over Russia’s Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Leningrad, Moscow, Oryol and Tula Regions.
