DONETSK, March 6. /TASS/. Russian air defense systems detected and suppressed 116 Ukrainian drones in the sky over Donetsk, Makeyevka and Yasinovataya in the past 24 hours, the territorial defense headquarters of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) said.

"According to the DPR branch of the Russian Federal Security Service, 116 Ukrainian drones were detected and suppressed over Donetsk, Makeyevka and Yasinovataya in the past 24 hours," the statement posited on the headquarters’ Telegram channel said.

The day before, the headquarters informed about 156 enemy drones suppressed over Donetsk, Gorlovka and Makeyevka.
