Abrams tanks in special operation zone to burn like others, says Kremlin spokesman

Dmitry Peskov stressed that "this is the daily, systematic, professional and selfless work of our soldiers, who demilitarize Ukraine and do it every day"

MOSCOW, February 26. /TASS/. Russia will destroy US Abrams tanks in the special operation zone just like all others, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in response to a question from TASS.

In this way he commented on a video released on Monday showing a burning Abrams tank that was destroyed during its first assignment.

"From the very beginning, our fighters said that these tanks would burn like the others. In general, as you and I know from the daily reports of the Defense Ministry, this is the daily, systematic, professional and selfless work of our soldiers, who demilitarize Ukraine and do it every day," Peskov pointed out.

The governor of the Kherson Region, Vladimir Saldo, has said that a US tank was destroyed by soldiers of Russia’s 15th separate mechanized infantry brigade near Avdeyevka. The Abrams was spotted by drone operators and then destroyed, Saldo said.
