BELGOROD, December 27. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces fired more than 80 different munitions at Russia’s Belgorod Region over the past 24 hours, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.
"In the Graivoronsky district, seven mortar shells were fired at the village of Dronovka. There were no casualties. Shrapnel damaged the roof of a private house. The village of Rozhdestvenka was shelled with mortars four times. No one was injured. The windows of two houses were broken by shrapnel, the power line was damaged. At the moment the power supply has been restored," he wrote.
The Ukrainian forces also fired 38 mortar shells on the outskirts of the village of Spodariushino in the Graivoronsky district, four mortar shells at the outskirts of Mokraya Orlovka and three mortar shells at the outskirts of Poroz.
In the Belgorod Region, five artillery shells were fired at the village of Nekhoteyevka and 12 mortar shells were fired at the village of Shchetinovka. In addition, an attack by two kamikaze drones was recorded in Shchetinovka.
In the Valuysky district, the village of Nizhniye Melnitsy came under mortar fire twice. In the Volokonovsky district, the Ukrainian forces shelled the outskirts of Stary eight times.
In the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, near the village of Repyakhovka, an air defense system shot down a fixed-wing drone without any consequences on the ground. In the Shebekinsky district, the Ukrainian military fired a mortar shell at Maryino. "There were no casualties or damage," Gladkov added.
