Number of Russia-friendly organizations in South Korea growing — Russian ambassador

Andrey Kulik pointed out that the "genuine mutual interest" of the peoples of the two countries in each other's culture and the historical ties between Russia and South Korea contribute to the strengthening of "cultural bridges"

SEOUL, November 21. TASS/. The number of Russia-friendly organizations in South Korea has been growing recently, Russian Ambassador to Seoul Andrey Kulik said.

"It is encouraging that the number of friendly and constructive organizations aimed at developing relations with Russia has been growing in South Korea recently," the ambassador said at a Russian-Korean friendship evening on November 20. According to him, the event was attended by "friends of Russia who feel sympathy for our country and make a significant contribution to strengthening good-neighborly relations": representatives of South Korean business and academic circles, experts on Russian history and culture, artists and other specialists engaged in humanitarian cooperation. The ambassador pointed out that all of them "maintain the mood for constructive interaction and continue to work in the field" of Russia-South Korea relations.

Kulik pointed out that the "genuine mutual interest" of the peoples of the two countries in each other's culture and the historical ties between Russia and South Korea contribute to the strengthening of "cultural bridges." The embassy will continue to support "noble efforts aimed at developing cultural dialogue" between the countries, he pointed out. "We are convinced that this is in the fundamental interests of the Russian and South Korean peoples," the ambassador underscored.
