Russia to provide 40 tons of humanitarian aid to Karabakh Armenians — MFA

MOSCOW, November 9. /TASS/. A total of 40 tons of Russian humanitarian aid will be delivered to Yerevan for Karabakh Armenians in the next few days, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a briefing.

"We are helping Armenia and the Karabakh Armenians in the humanitarian sphere. In particular, 40 tons of humanitarian aid have been prepared by the Russian government, taking into consideration the needs of the Armenian side. It will be delivered to Yerevan in the coming days," Zakharova said.

According to her, in view of the coming winter season, "the humanitarian cargo includes a mobile power station capable of supplying dozens of houses with electricity." "The humanitarian effort being undertaken is the next in a long line of steps already taken by the Russian side to support Karabakh’s displaced persons," the diplomat added.
