BELGOROD, November 2. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces fired more than 140 different munitions at Russia’s Belgorod Region over the past 24 hours, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.
"In the Shebekino district, four shells were fired at the town of Shebekino from a Grad MLRS. There is a victim: after medical surgery, the man remains in intensive care in a very serious unstable condition. Doctors are providing him with all necessary assistance. As a result of the shelling, there two enterprises were damaged, as well as two cars," he wrote.
The Russian forces downed a fixed-wing drone near the village of Batratskaya Dacha in the Shebekinsky district. The Ukrainian military fired five grenades at the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, and dropped a shrapnel munition from a drone on the territory of the village. "The village of Sereda was shelled from artillery four times. Also in Sereda, the enemy dropped a shrapnel munition from a drone. <...> Five artillery shells were fired at Balki, five mortar shells were fired at Murom and three at the Shebekino automobile checkpoint," the regional head said.
The Ukrainian forces also fired 31 artillery shells and 31 grenade launchers at the village of Shchetinovka. The Russian air defenses downed a fixed-wing drone over the village of Novaya Derevnya and two enemy drones over the village of Solntsevka.
In the Borisovsky district, the Ukrainian forces fired six mortar shells at the outskirts of the village of Kazachye-Rudchenskoye. In the Valuysky district, 16 artillery and 20 mortar shells were fired at the village of Dolgoye.
In the Graivoronsky urban district, the outskirts of the village of Poroz came under fire seven times. Two mortar shells were fired at the outskirts of the village of Zarechye-Pervoye. "There were no casualties or damage in any of the settlements in the district," Gladkov added.
