LUGANSK, October 26. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military suffered more than 100 casualties in its attempts to break through into the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) over the week and Russian forces repulsed 18 enemy attacks, LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik said on his Telegram channel on Thursday.

"Over the week, our fighters repulsed 18 enemy attacks in the Berestovoye-Pereyezdnoye, Novodruzhesk-Grigorovka and Volcheyarovka-Ivano-Daryevka frontline areas. As a result, the enemy sustained heavy losses: over 130 personnel killed and wounded," the regional head said.

Over the week, Russian forces thwarted "28 attempts to violate the republic’s airspace and shot down 38 enemy drones," he said.
