GENICHESK, July 31. /TASS/. Russian servicemen foiled a Ukrainian attempt to cross the Dnieper River near the Maly Belogrudny island, destroying a boat and ten servicemen, the regional emergency services told reporters.

"Over the past 24 hours, the Dnieper battlegroup wiped out a boat and five Ukrainian fighters near the Borshchevoy island. The battlegroup also foiled a Ukrainian attempt to cross the Dnieper near the Maly Belogrudny island, destroying an enemy boat and ten servicemen," the source said.

In the Kherson area, an AN/TPQ-36 radar and five Ukrainian fighters were destroyed near Belozerka, an M777 howitzer with ammunition was knocked out of action near Molodezhnoye, and a Ukrainian position was suppressed near Antonovka. Two positions of the Ukrainian units near Gavrilovka and Mikhailovka in the Kakhovka area were destroyed.
