ST. PETERSBURG, July 30. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin does not yet know whether he will go to the G20 summit in India in September.
"I don’t know yet, I didn’t think about it, we’ll see," he said in an interview with reporters.
Speaking about the BRICS summit, which is to be held in Johannesburg, the President noted that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov would go there.
"I will definitely participate there via videoconference," Putin added.
Putin said that his presence in the country is now more important than a trip to the BRICS summit in South Africa.
When asked why he decided not to go to South Africa for the BRICS summit he replied: "I don't think my stay at the BRICS summit is more important than my stay in Russia now.".
