Russian artillery thwarts Kiev’s attack in Chervona Dibrovka area — Central Battlegroup

According to Alexander Savchuk, enemy artillery units were exposed in the Krasny Liman area as part of the counterbattery fight by the battlegroup's reconnaissance

MOSCOW, April 7. /TASS/. The artillery of the Russian battlegroup Center prevented an attempted attack by Ukrainian troops in the Chervona Dibrovka area, the battlegroup’s spokesman Alexander Savchuk said on Friday.

"A platoon of the 58th mechanized infantry brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces and the 15th regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine attempted an attack in the Chervona Dibrovka district. Gunnery units of the battlegroup Center fired on this unit, as a result of which the enemy suffered losses and scattered into the forest," the spokesman said.

According to Savchuk, enemy artillery units were exposed in the Krasny Liman area as part of the counterbattery fight by the battlegroup's reconnaissance. "All targets were neutralized," he stressed.

The spokesman also said that crews of the group's assault and army aviation delivered strikes with unguided aviation missiles on the enemy's firepower, hardware and manpower.
