DONETSK, April 7. /TASS/. The Ukrainian regime once again showed its terrorist nature by shelling the center of Donetsk on the holiday of the Annunciation, the acting head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, said on Friday.

"Militants are always especially active on holidays. Today is the Annunciation and the anniversary of the establishment of the Donetsk People's Republic. The Ukrainian regime has once again shown its terrorist nature," Pushilin wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the DPR mission to the Joint Control and Coordination Center for issues related to Ukrainian war crimes, Ukrainian troops fired five rockets from multiple rocket launchers (MLRS) into the central Voroshilovsky district of the city on Friday afternoon. Mayor Alexey Kulemzin said that the area of an indoor market, as well as two boulevards came under fire. According to updated reports, one person was killed and 13 more were wounded. Kulemzin said that Ukrainian troops had targeted a densely populated neighborhood while shelling the center of Donetsk.
