ANKARA, April 6. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Ankara on Thursday evening at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.
Lavrov is expected to discuss at length a number of energy issues, Ukraine, the grain deal, Nagorno-Karabakh as well as the dialogue between Ankara and Damascus.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday that Lavrov and Cavusoglu would touch upon the security of Russians in Turkey on the eve of the tourist season.
