Kremlin declines to comment on allegations of drone supplies from China

Dmitry Peskov also did not answer a question as to whether Russia had asked China to provide any equipment for its special military operation

MOSCOW, February 27. /TASS/. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has declined to comment on allegations that China is supplying drones to Russia, noting that Beijing had already denied those reports.

"I see no reason to comment because China has already denied this information," he told reporters on Monday.

Peskov also did not answer a question as to whether Russia had asked China to provide any equipment for its special military operation. "Since all this information has generally been refuted by China, we see no need to comment further," Peskov explained.

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin said on Friday that the ministry had taken note of numerous false reports about Chinese drone supplies to the Russian army. The diplomat emphasized the need "to be wary of the motives" driving some forces to spread such rumors. He also said that Beijing did not provide military support to parties involved in armed conflicts.
