Russia reveals US aware of media bribery in coverage of coronavirus outbreak causes

It is noted that mass demonstrations against the activities of US-funded biolabs took place across the post-Soviet space

MOSCOW, January 30. /TASS/. US law enforcement agencies are aware of bribery among the press and social media journalists in their coverage of the causes of the coronavirus outbreak, Chief of Russia’s Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Force Igor Kirillov told a briefing on Monday.

"The revelations by the Russian Federation of the contents of the Pentagon's military-biological programs in Ukraine have generated a wide public outcry. Mass demonstrations against the activities of US-funded biolabs took place across the post-Soviet space; public organizations from the Eurasian Economic Union have adopted a resolution against Pentagon-funded biolabs," he noted.

"A host of investigations have been initiated in the United States itself. Topics related to the bribery of social media and press personnel when covering the causes of the novel coronavirus infection have come to the attention of US law enforcement agencies, along with chicanery and manipulating public opinion on American COVID-19 vaccines, carried out on orders of biotech and pharmaceutical corporations," Kirillov said.
