BERLIN, January 20. /TASS/. The Foreign Intelligence Service of the Federal Republic of Germany (BND) submitted a report to Bundestag delegates this week which indicates that the losses of the Ukrainian army in the vicinity of Artyomovsk (Bakhmut) are in the triple digits, Der Spiegel reported on Friday.
"The Federal Intelligence Service informed Bundestag delegates about the situation at a secret meeting this week. What the officials could say, causes concern: currently, Ukrainians are suffering enormous losses on the frontline near Bakhmut and the BND briefing mentioned triple-digit daily losses. According to the analysis, if Bakhmut falls, this will impact the entire Ukrainian line of defense," the news outlet noted.
Earlier on Friday, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the populated locality of Kleshcheyevka on the Artyomovsk front in the Donetsk People’s Republic was liberated by volunteer assault teams with fire support from Russia’s Armed Forces.
