Russian diplomat excoriates Zelensky regime’s remarks on missile incident in Poland

As Maria Zakharova stressed, Vladimir Zelensky is sitting in a bunker and does not understand why even the most toxic Russophobes disavowed his version of a "Russian missile in Poland"

MOSCOW, November 16. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova took to her Telegram channel on Wednesday to castigate the Kiev regime’s remarks regarding last night’s incident when a missile fell on Polish soil.

"Soon, the Russian Foreign Ministry will make a statement regarding the situation involving a blatant provocation by the Kiev regime," the diplomat vowed.

"[Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky is sitting in a bunker and does not understand why even the most toxic Russophobes disavowed his version of a 'Russian missile in Poland'," Zakharova stressed.

"He cannot comprehend that he was placed as the ringleader of a gang of bandits in Ukraine to do the dirty work, and not to dictate to his curators what to do," she emphasized.

On Tuesday, a rocket fell in the village of Przewodow in eastern Poland’s Lublin Voivodeship on the border with Ukraine, killing two people. According to the Polish President Andrzej Duda, there is no evidence so far that indicates who fired this missile. The Polish Foreign Ministry claimed that the missile was Russian-made.

Russia’s Defense Ministry stated that no strikes on targets near the Ukrainian-Polish border were conducted by Russian firepower.

"Photographs of the wreckage found in the settlement of Przewodow, that were published in Poland on the evening of November 15, were unequivocally identified by Russian military-industrial complex experts as components of an anti-aircraft guided missile of the S-300 air defense system belonging to the Ukrainian Air Force," the Russian Defense Ministry said.
