BERLIN, October 24. /TASS/. Germany will ship three more IRIS-T air defense systems to Ukraine and will continue to support Kiev together with its partners for as long as it will take, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said, speaking at the opening of the 5th German-Ukrainian Economic Forum in Berlin Monday.

"We stand firmly with Ukrainians in this fight, which is also a fight for peace and security in Europe. We support Ukraine politically, financially, economically, from humanitarian standpoint and with weapons," Scholz said.

The German chancellor noted that Germany has already shipped air defense systems, including the German-made IRIS-T systems.

"Three more such systems will be delivered shortly," Scholz assured. "Together with our partners, we will support Ukraine for as long as it will take."
