Western countries’ real aim is to plunder Syria, Ukraine — Joint Coordination Center

It was stressed that by supplying Ukraine with all types of weapons that are being used by the Ukrainian nationalists to shell peaceful residential areas and critical infrastructures, the United States and Britain were fueling chaos in Europe

MOSCOW, October 20. /TASS/. The Western coalition’s wish to take oil and grain out of Syria and Ukraine is fraught with the risk of a food crisis in the developing countries, the head of Russia’s Joint Coordination Headquarters (JCH) for the repatriation of Syrian refugees, Colonel Oleg Gorshenin, said on Thursday.

"While cynically professing humanitarian goals, the Western countries both in Syria and Ukraine brazenly and shamelessly try to take out, and in fact to steal, their national wealth, in particular, oil and grain, while neglecting the well-being of ordinary citizens. As a result of such irresponsible actions by the Western coalition, the threat of a food crisis in the developing and poorest countries of the world is becoming more and more real," Gorshenin said in Moscow during a joint JCH meeting, which took place in the capitals of Russia and Syria on Thursday.

He stressed that by supplying Ukraine with all types of weapons that are being used by the Ukrainian nationalists to shell peaceful residential areas and critical infrastructures, the United States and Britain were fueling chaos in Europe in order to save their own economies from the global crisis they had triggered themselves.
