One civilian killed, six others wounded in Ukrainian army’s shelling of DPR in past day

It is reported that the bombardments damaged 15 residential buildings in Donetsk and six civilian infrastructure facilities

DONETSK, October 20. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military bombarded the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) 40 times in the past day, killing one and wounding six other civilians, the DPR mission to the Joint Center of Control and Coordination of Issues Related to Ukraine’s War Crimes reported on Thursday.

"In the past 24 hours, the mission reported 40 instances of bombardment by the Ukrainian military," the mission said on its Telegram channel.

"It was reported that a man was killed in the Kirovsky district of Donetsk. Six other civilians received wounds of various severity in the Kievsky, Kirovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts of Donetsk and in the earlier liberated community of Novotroitskoye," the statement reads.

The Ukrainian military bombarded DPR territory using Grad multiple launch rocket systems, 155mm, 152mm and 122mm artillery guns, firing a total of 155 shells of various caliber, it specified.

The Ukrainian army’s shelling attacks targeted Donetsk, Gorlovka, Panteleimonovka, Krasny Partizan, Yasinovataya, Makeyevka, Yelenovka and Novotroitskoye, the mission reported.

The bombardments damaged 15 residential buildings in Donetsk and six civilian infrastructure facilities, it said.

In the previous 24 hours, the Ukrainian military shelled DPR territory 32 times, the mission reported.
