Envoy blasts West’s attempts to exclude Russia from UN Human Rights Council

The diplomat said it was unbelievable what the West and the rest are trying to do with Russia today, trying to exclude it from every multinational multilateral forums we are having in the world

UN, April 5. /TASS/. Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya hit out at schemes by the West to exclude Russia from the United Nations Human Rights Council.

The diplomat said it was "unbelievable what the West and the rest are trying to do with Russia today, trying to exclude it from every multinational multilateral forums we are having in the world."

"This is unprecedented. And this will not facilitate or encourage or be helpful to what is happening between Russian and Ukrainian peace talks," Nebenzya added.
