MOSCOW, March 30. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi stated that in light of the difficult situation in the world, Moscow and Beijing continue to strengthen their strategic partnership, while speaking with one voice.
"The foreign ministers of both countries stated that in light of the challenging international situation, Russia and China continue to strengthen their strategic partnership and speak with a unified voice in global affairs. It was agreed to further bolster foreign policy coordination, enhance cooperation on the bilateral track as well as in various multilateral formats," the statement says. "A number of important issues on the global and regional agenda were discussed, including the current state of affairs in Afghanistan, Central Asia, the situation around the Iranian nuclear program, and on the Korean Peninsula."
"The conversation took place in a traditionally trust-based and friendly atmosphere," the statement concluded.
