Lavrov calls water blockade of Crimea ‘humanitarian crime’ at talks with PACE president

MOSCOW, March 18./TASS/. At talks with PACE President Rik Daems on Thursday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov drew his attention to the water blockade of Crimea by Kiev, calling it 'a humanitarian crime'.

"The problem of the water blockade of Crimea was emphasized as a humanitarian crime and collective punishment of the peninsula’s population," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement released on Thursday.
