MOSCOW, November 17. /TASS/. Chechen head Ramzan Kadyrov held talks with Bahraini Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa at the sheikh’s palace, Kadyrov wrote on Russia’s VK social networking site on Saturday.

"At dinner we shared views on the current state and the ways to promote ties between Bahrain and the Chechen Republic [a Russian republic in the North Caucasus - TASS] in various fields of the economy, culture and sports," Kadyrov wrote.

"We pointed out that recently a big step forward has been made to expand mutually beneficial cooperation," he added thanking the crown prince for a warm welcome.

On November 15, Kadyrov wrote on his VK page about a trip to Bahrain, noting that the visit "is continuing traditionally fraternal ties" between the kingdom and Chechnya. Kadyrov and Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa visited the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS-2018) and familiarized themselves with a Russian SSJ100 (Sukhoi SuperJet-100) airliner.
