Fire occurred on board of Triumph ship near Kamchatka — rescuers

Four people are reported lost after the fire, the source noted

MOSCOW, September 25. /TASS/. A fire broke out aboard the vessel Triumph off the coast of Kamchatka, the fleet monitoring dispatch service of the Far Eastern Expeditionary Unit of Emergency Rescue Operations told TASS.

"The vessel Triumph is on fire. The crew abandoned ship and was on life rafts. The approaching vessel Persey picked up 25 people from the rafts. The Persey is heading to Petropavlovsk and is scheduled to arrive in port at 06:00 a.m. Kamchatka time [06:00 p.m. GMT the day before - TASS] to disembark the 25 Triumph crew members," the source said.

Four people are reported lost after the fire, the source noted. "The master was among the rescued people," he said. The search operation continues for the four crewmembers.
