TOKYO, June 22. /TASS/. A magnitude 6.1 earthquake was recorded off the coast of Hokkaido, Japan’s northernmost island, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.

The epicenter was located 73 kilometers east of the city of Kushiro, at a depth of 10 kilometers.

No casualties or damage have been reported, and authorities have issued no tsunami warning.
