The meteorological department of Thailand rated the magnitude of the earthquake in Myanmar at 8.2. Twelve aftershocks were registered after then. Aftershocks will weaken gradually until ceasing completely, the ministry said. Sometimes it takes up to several weeks.
A strong earthquake occurred in Myanmar. According to different data, its magnitude was from 7.7 to 7.9. It was followed by the repeated earthquake with the magnitude of 6.4.
