Shopping center damaged in Russia’s Belgorod as drone attack repelled

Nearby trees caught fire, the consequences of the attack are being updated

BELGOROD, March 18. /TASS/. A shopping center has been damaged by falling debris in Russia’s Belgorod as an attack by Ukrainian drones was repelled, Mayor Valentin Demidov said on his Telegram channel, adding that casualties are reported.

"Over Belgorod, air defense forces are repelling attacks by Ukrainian drones. A shopping center has been damaged by falling debris in the Kharkov Mountain [region]. Casualties are reported," he wrote.

The shopping center was not seriously damaged, nearby trees caught fire, the consequences of the attack are being updated, Demidov said, adding that all operative services are working on the spot.
